Tea Leaf Picking

It is the beginning of May; the summer is nearing fast.
Those people over there, are they not tea leaf pickers?
They are wearing about them tea-picking sashes,
in pomegranate color, and their grass hats.

Nowadays, everyday is fair, pleasant weather.
The tea pickers are singing peacefully, picking the leaves.
“ Pick, pick, and pick. We have to pick. Work hard,
otherwise the leaves will not help the country prosper.”
